What we do

Closing an online account usually means hunting through settings menus, help centers, and support articles that change without notice. We do that research once and publish a clear, direct link to the correct place to start — along with the practical context you need before you commit: whether the service offers deactivation as well as deletion, what typically happens to your data, and what to check first.

Every guide on this site points to an official page operated by the service itself. We don't run the deletion process, and we never ask you to hand over an account login to us.

What we don't do

How we maintain the directory

Our listings are organized by category and kept as close to each provider's current process as we can manage. Interfaces change often, so if you find a guide that's out of date or a link that no longer works, we want to know — let us know and we'll review it.
